Korean GPA Calculator for 4.5, 4.3 and 4.0 Scales

Korean universities commonly use a 4.5 or 4.3 maximum GPA. Enter each course's credits and letter grade above to calculate a credit-weighted average and compare the corresponding letter-grade tables.

How the weighted GPA is calculated

Multiply each course's grade points by its credits, add the weighted points, and divide by the total graded credits. For example, a 3-credit A+ and a 3-credit A0 on a 4.5 scale produce (3 × 4.5 + 3 × 4.0) ÷ 6 = 4.25.

Before reporting a converted GPA

This comparison is informational, not an official credential evaluation. Unless an institution requests a conversion, report the GPA and maximum scale exactly as printed on your transcript and follow the receiving institution's instructions.
